Postcard: Girl throwing stardust by the sea

This was the second postcard to return this week. It's been out quite a bit longer than Every leaf was--May of this year. It came home from Seattle.

The finder writes:

Greetings from the Seattle Northeast Public Library! I found this while checking in some books on hold. What a lovely surprise. Like any librarian I immediately looked you up. What a fascinating project!

About Lost Postcards

The Lost Postcard Project started on a whim in 2006. A mother turning 40 and a daughter just turned 6, we spent an afternoon together making postcard-sized art, and then decided to address them to ourselves and hide them in library books in the small town of Iona, Idaho, where we were visiting friends.

We never saw any of those postcards again, but the project became a tradition we carried on whenever we traveled. We hid postcards in libraries wherever we went, and they started finding their way home.

This is where we keep track of the Lost Postcards and the fun we have had with them.
