It's been a bit of a dry spell, but today we got one of Jonno's postcards back from Denver. He calls this one "Dolphin and Basilisk." I'm not sure he actually knows what a basilisk is!
So, do you put postage on them when you "lose" them? Or is that maybe why so few are returned. Just wondering. This is such an amazing tradition and a great memory you are making with your family. (And the finders!) Collette
We do put postage on them, Collette--we didn't at first (because honestly, our first hide was on a whim). And before Forever stamps, I'm sure sometimes the postage went up while the card was hidden.
But today, we always put a Forever stamp on them. And the return rate seems to be improving. I wish I were mathematically-minded, and I would track all that! But I'm not, so I go on my impressions...
Thanks for your comment! I'm sorry my reply was so slow in coming. I'm still getting used to the whole idea of this blog!
